Holding Down The Fort

Nothing much going on here, the menfolk have left of
the mountains for their Father / Son snowmobile trip
and I holding down the fort. It's pouring rain, winters
getting in it's last big push. I hope it's the last.
I just like taking pictures of this big old oak tree and
thought I'd share. Have a wonderful and safe weekend.

It's hard to believe the grass is so green in one part of the country and there's enough snow for snowmobiling in another;)

Oh how I long for your green grass and blossoms, I can smell their fragrance from here. It's really hard to wrap ones head around all that green and prettiness to looking at all that snow.....the best of both world's(for you)cause you happen to be into winter activities.....me ....not so much.
