Friday Morning Mist

Not much to write about.
Fire wood has been the big event around here.
I wont be going to the mountains for a couple or week,
it's suppose to start raining soon and
there is still a lot to do to get the farm ready for winter.
Shane has a new job, so I will be losing my help.
I couldn't pass up taking photos this morning,
so beautiful,the leaves, the mist
and the rising sun.

"HAVE A GREAT DAY"

Sunday Stills, Landscapes

Standing in a Sunflowers field at my grandmothers ranch,
with the Sutter Buttes in the background.
The smallest mountain range in the world.

Week Wrap Up

It was one of those "Butt on Fire" weeks.
Monday was so long ago I don't remember,
Tuesday was Callemomen's in Chico, we had our weigh in
for the State Cattlewomen's Biggest Loser contest.
We lost 46 lbs in two months.

Of course, what you don't see is all the boots and shoes kicked off.

Wednesday the boys split fire wood all day and it
was Shane's birthday.  That nigh we had family dinner,
Enchiladas, Tacos, Spanish Rice and Cheese Cake?
I don't think that's Mexican?
Oh...  and I had the Biscuit all day.

Thursday, more Biscuit and laundry.
Today, worked most of the day on Omega Nu.
Omega Nu in my charity group and we are hosting
Conclave in three weeks for about 150 Ladies
from around the North State.
That's taking up a lot of time.

JS has gone to the mountains and I'm home all weekend
by myself hoping to get life back in order.

Well, at least the floors vacuumed and mopped.

Closed In For Winter

That's been the goal all summer, to get it closed in for winter.
I can't even call it a cabin with a strait face,
the dang thing is bigger then our house.
Contractor got a little carried away and
the home owner was easily lead.

Roof should be finished in a couple of week and the decks sealed.
Electricians are starting to pull wire.  Daughter Dawn and I took
a trip to Sacramento to look at lights and appliances, but
nothing picked out yet.  Just getting ideas to give the electricians.

Framing and wood work is almost done and the painting is finished,
but for some trim on a few windows.

Then to get everything cleaned up and covered before the first snow.

So how do you like the paint color and the wood work?
I'll get better photos when the roof the every thing is finished.
That where we're at for now.
