Thursday of last week, we met with the loggers to burn the slash
piles left from the logging, on the new mountain property.
Three of our workers came to help, it took all day.
Nine piles in all, it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be,
but sure glad it's done. Can't wait till spring, to see what
it looks like after setting through a winter.
Paul Bonyon would be proud.

Wow 9 fires at once, that's a lot to watch! Would be kinda neat though.
You had good snow cover..did you save any for firewood?? Paul Bunyan was a great logger here in Minnesota:)
Best time to burn the slash piles, in the snow! I love taking fire photos, you never know what you are going to get.
