Sunday Stills, Signs of Fall

In the Sierra's, Spring doesn't come along till summer is well on it's
way in the valley.  Fall however, is the early riser in the mountains,
Dogwoods and Gooseberries now lining the roads with their beautiful colors.

Beautiful. Love the touch of red on the edge of the leaves. Dogwoods/Gooseberries lining the roads ... how beautiful

Do you pick the gooseberries and make jam? My mom used to and it was very tasty.

Hi Ladies........... it makes great jam, a cabin neighbor pick and made jam for us one year. I know it's a lot of work. Our gooseberries have thorns.
