That Time of Year

The oranges are starting to show a little color.

Not irrigating as much and beginning to gather and repair clippers,
picking bags and ladders.  It's funny, but almost
every month something is being harvested in California.

It's just that time of year.

I love the picture, looks like you are really looking at it in person. The son brought home a sheet that we can buy oranges and grapefruit but they come from Florida. They sell them for a fundraiser for his class.

I find it tough to wrap my brain around the fact that stuff is growing elsewhere( really not that far away)and I am already cringing at the encroaching winter. I'm tell'n ya a tent out there amongst those Orange trees is all I would need.
