This last May my Mom, (Diana) our friend Judy Q and I went on a weeks curse to Alaska. We went up a day early to tour Seattle on a Double Decker Bus and see the sights. "The Discover Seattle" tour was to be part of our trip package with tickets waiting for us at the hotel.
I'm sure you can see this coming ......................NO TICKETS. So......if we wanted to go on the tour we would have to pay again! Well the vacation gods were in good form, "The computer on the bus was down and we got to ride for free". The weather was perfect so off we went. We saw all the things one should see, The Space Needle, The Building face they use for the hospital in "Grays Anatomy", Bill Gates building , Bill Gates something else and a whole lot of stuff that was really cool and the time, but I don't remember now. And a nice drive down by the harbor to see all the ships and boats. "It was really a nice tour".
After words we went down to the Pike Place Market "Were they throw the fish" and" THE FLOWERS" ! stand after stand of flowers..........."BEAUTIFUL"
For dinner we saw an add for " The Crab Pot" it was right on the water, crowded but didn't have to want long. "It was great!, the tables are covered in butcher paper, they put a bib on you that covers your lap, you get lots of melted butter, bread, drinks and then they take this huge bowl of Clams, Mussels, three kinds of Crab, Shrimp, Corn on the cob, potatoes and dump it in the middle of the table and You Have At It"................Oh my God it was Good !!!!!!!!!

Wow, Sam, it sounds like you had a lot of fun! I love Washington - we lived there for about 5 years. Did you make it to the Pike St. Market? We haven't been up there in a long time...I'd love to go again! And the restaurant you found sounds awesome. :)
